Why Direct Communication Matters, Whether You’re Buying a Home or Booking a Stay

Real estate and short-term rental hosting look different on paper. Here's the one principle I don't compromise on in either.

I run two businesses that, on paper, look pretty different — short-term rental hosting and real estate brokerage. But they share one operating principle I don’t compromise on: you talk to me, not a team.

In Real Estate

Buying or selling a home is one of the larger decisions most people make, and it’s stressful enough without wondering which assistant is handling your file this week. As a licensed Florida broker, I’d rather be the one answering your questions from the first conversation through closing.

In Hosting

The same is true for a stay. A short-term rental booking is a smaller decision, but the same principle applies — a quick, honest answer from the person actually responsible for the property beats a polished but slow response from a support system.

Why I Keep It This Way

Both of these choices make it harder to scale quickly. I’ve made them anyway, because the alternative — bigger, but less personal — isn’t the kind of business I wanted to build.

If you’re reaching out about either one, you’re reaching me.
