Why I Host Every Kismet Getaways Property Myself

Most short-term rentals are run by a management company. Here's why I host every Kismet Getaways property personally instead.

Most short-term rentals today are run by a property management company. You book a stay, and somewhere behind the scenes a rotating team of employees handles check-in, cleaning, and guest questions. I do it differently.

One Person, Every Property

Every property under the Kismet Getaways name is hosted by me, personally. I’m the one who answers when you have a question before your trip, the one who checks in on how your stay is going, and the one you can reach if something comes up. There’s no call center to get routed through and no handoff between departments.

Why It Matters

Hosting personally means I actually know each property — not just the listing photos, but the small details that make a stay easier: which door sticks a little, where the extra towels are kept, what’s nearby that’s actually worth visiting. It also means accountability. If something isn’t right, you’re not waiting on a ticket system. You’re talking to the person who can fix it.

The Same Philosophy in Real Estate

I bring the same approach to my real estate work as a licensed Florida broker. Whether you’re renting a place for a week or buying a home, I’d rather you deal directly with me than get passed around. It’s slower to scale a business this way, but it’s the only way I’ve found to keep the quality — and the relationship — consistent.

Get in Touch

If you’re staying at one of my properties, or thinking about buying or selling in the Miami area, reach out directly. That’s the whole idea.
